Brynarth is a rurally-situated guesthouse with a big difference, reminiscent of a small village as it lies nestling into and sheltered by a gently protective circle of hills.

It is owned and run by Cathy and Ian Campion and is situated 11 miles south-east of Aberystwyth - within the beautiful countryside but close enough to enjoy the many attractions of Aberystwyth itself and those surrounding it in Ceredigion.

The 17th Century farmhouse and barns have been tastefully and sympathetically renovated in keeping with Brynarth's age and time in history, and the extensive grounds sit beautifully in 8 acres of some of the most stunning countryside in the Ystwyth valley.

Crystal clear spring water comes down from the mountains to supply Brynarth even through the driest of summers. It is the perfect place to relax and unwind, whether for a weekend break or a longer stay. Please note we do not provide televisions (apart from in the Games Barn) in accordance with our policy of relaxing peace and tranquility - it's amazing how the art of conversation and convivial chat improves without it!

There are 5 double rooms plus 2 single, all en-suite either with a bath or shower plus WC. A further double room and a twin are adjacent and share a bathroom, but do have wash-basins within each room as well. These two rooms are ideal for a family. All rooms have tea & coffee making facilities and fresh milk is available from the kitchen.

Full English breakfast is included with cereals and toast, and evening meals and packed lunches can be enjoyed by prior arrangement.
